I did not pass my NCLEX-RN on first attempt. Any suggestions for how I should study differently?

or for what helped each of you the most?

Did you take a Kaplan review course? Many people have found this kind of structured program to be very helpful.

I personally didn't take it. I bought several review books with comprehensive practice exams. I answered over 3000 questions and read through every rationale, that's what I found most helpful.

Don't fret, many people fail the first time. Good luck next time! Source(s): RN
go to allnurses.com--they have Suzanne's plan that will help you pass boards...good luck
My two cousins are both nurses and they said the Kaplan course helped tremendously! You could try that or do practice tests.

If at first you don't suceed, try again. You'll be much better prepared this time.
