How much money will it cost for nursing school?

Going for RN..it's two years right?

It all depends on the school, of course. A 2-year associates degree is usually about 64 semester credits. Tuition could be anywhere from $150-$300 per credit, depending on the school. Plus there's books, school fees, etc. So you're talking anywhere from $12-20k. Source(s): RN
well at our community college the program is 2 years but you need a long list of prerequisites to get into the program so you are looking at anywhere from 3-4 years to get your ADN. HOw much will it cost? Depends on what school you are going to go to. IN state or out state. will you live on or off campus? Books for the nursing program at our school is about $700 per semester or at least that was the last nursing student I talked to told me was her total last spring. Buy all the books you can off of the internet!
Tuition varies in each state, but it would definitely be cheaper if you go to a community college. I'm in my last semester of nursing school (RN) and it's taken me 3 years for my associates at approx 8k and I'm going back for my BSN next year at about 3200 a semester. After my basics, I got a job at a local hospital and they've paid for all of my tuition and books in exchange for 6 months of working as an RN at their hospital.
RN 2 be... December 07!
