Depending on where you live your state may provide health insurance.

In NY, they have something called Family Health Plus. and depending on your situation it may cost you nothing. You apply for it through your local Social services center.

you should find work as a cashier or something, maybe even go back to school...
Google it......look at different sites that come up,and ask for quotes.
Do you qualify for anything through the state? That doesnt seem write that you are without insurance at 60. Unfortunately the cost of insurance is so high that having it is more for preparing for an emergency these days and not for trips to the doctors for "little" things.

I'm sure you have paid PLENTY over your career into some kind of medical state tax pot, I think you should see what you can get, you deserve to be taken care of.
