Where to find work as an at home medical transcriptionist....? |
Finshed school in Feb 05, still unable to find work around our area, not too many online places will hire a new transcriptionist, I want to work at home but would travel up to 1 hour away to obtain experience. I took a test for an online place and got a 82 or something and you needed an 85 to get the position with them, then you have to wait one year to retest. Anyone go right from school to work-if so with what company. There are so many out there and I don't want to pay for training as I have already went through the typing, terminology & transcription. I have the books & cds from class yet too. Any information will be helpfull, thanks! Here are some options: This is a company that has a mentoring program for someone with no experience (now I'm not saying you'll get in, but they do have this program). I've known sometimes that it has a waiting list and sometimes they may look for graduates from well-known schools. ositranscription.com Also some other companies might be willing to take on a "newbie" as we call them. Look for jobs at mtjobs.com and mtstars.com (look at their forums and then job board). Hope this helps! They didn't take me because it's been longer than a year since graduation of the class. :( check this link its good http://workathomeoutsourcingjobs.blogspo... . Here is a good site for you: http://mtstars.com Hope this helps you :) |
