Can you be hired as a CNA at a nursing home if you don't have a high school diploma or GED?

This varies by state. In my state a person can be a CNA at age 16, therefore, no GED or high school diploma is required. Our training program is $480 for 90 hour training (usually done in 4 weeks) with an additional $90 for state testing fee. Contact your State's Nursing Board for specific requirements.
Best Wishes.
It depends on the state you live in. Most states require that you have a GED or High School Diploma or a 12th grade reading and math level to complete the nurse aide program. Check with your state nurse aide registry.
