Any Nurses Out There, I need you help? |
I am a medical student. I also collect different types of IV tubing, sometimes I ask the company to send me samples, in Canada I went into a local hospital told them I needed it for a project a med school, which of course was not true, but I got a baxter solution set. The question is that if they find out that I did not need it for a project but am merely collecting it, I can not get into trouble can I, i know that in Canada, I was stopped once by security but they told me not to do it and then told me to get lost. I am planing to go to a local hospital hear in the states, where I live now, If I walk into the emergency department, tell them I am a med student (which I am) will they give me some tubing, they will not call security will they? Needless to say I do not do, nor do I provide any material to people who do drugs, after all I am studying to be a doctor. I doubt it is a big deal, but it is LYING. Also, someone has to pay for that. You're one of the reasons that healthcare is so high. Technically, the person who took the tubing and gave it to you STOLE it. Find a new hobby. what do u need it for? just to collect it, it doesnt make any sense, plus if u come here to the hospitals here in the US , they use same kinds of iv tubing, or u want different tubings, like secondary, primary tubings with multiple ports? i still dont get the point of collecting it, what for? Who are you fooling? It sounds like you are a drug-addict if you have to lie to get tubing...no one 'collects' tubing. There is simply NO reason to have it in your house. I don't think you are a medical student either. You need to get some help now before you end up in prison. |
