How do you identify the work standards with which you are expected to comply? Go to the HR Department. Ask for a copy of your job description and a copy of a blank performance review form for your job. If you still are not clear, ask your boss what s/he considers a good job. Most job descriptions include a duty such as "and other duties as assigned." This is often the most important duty on the page because this is where "doing a little bit extra, being a team player, giving 110%" comes in. |
