I want to go to school and become a RN what do I have to do to get started?

Decide what schools you would be interested in attending and then get a list of all the required courses for those schools. Begin taking classes and aim for a 4.0 because nursing schools are very competitive. Try to make an appointment with an advisor to help you stay on track and give you pointers on how and what order to take classes. Be aware that at most schools, science classes are only valid for 5 years, so stay on track. I hope this helps... Good luck! Source(s): RN2B December 07!
