OT gets out of school faster and has more job opportunities; also doesn't have to worry about getting patients. OT may or may not be a more prestigious position than a DC, who are sometimes referred to as "pretend doctors" (think of the guy from 2 and a half men). If you are considering DC, physical therapy may be something worth checking into, since the scope of practice is very similar. PT learns the same spinal manipulation techniques that DC does.
Well an occupational therapist would say their job is better and chiropractor would say their job is better. It's a personal preference.
You shouldn't let the salaries play a factor is what you do...All that should matter is that you want to help people and which way you would prefer to do. Both of these occupations make bank though. The US average salary for a chiropractor is $97,000 and for occupational therapy is $56,500.
They are two quite different professions and levels of education though there are doctorate programs for ot's these days as well. I would go with what you would enjoy doing on a day to day basis as opposed to salary. That ol' adage, "if you love what you do, you'll never have to work a day in your life" is so true.

Here is a website for general career info: US occupational outlook handbook www.bls.gov/oco and can type into search 'occupational therapist' or 'chiropractor' or such.
Chiropractor has Britter future, where U have open work field in abroad also.Country like India has gr8 belief in this therapy.so go for it.
I hope this helps but i was going to become an occupational therapist but found out that there was so many more people that were therapists than there were jobs, so many were moving to other European countries to find work.

I would expect a occupational therapist to earn more but if you cant find work then maybe you should look into being a chiropractor
