What is reputation of online degree vs. classroom setting decrees for nursing decrees.? would you let a doctor operate surgery on you if he degree was totally online? that means they dont get to operate on animals if they are online. some degrees are good for online like computer programmer- as for anything else like car repair- you better be in the work shop or it aint a degree- its call thinking and a whole waste of money. General conception is people who go to online colleges couldn't hack it in a regular brick and mortar school. so Mistrust and uneasyness would be two reactions I'd definately expect to see towards these doctors. I did my RN thur Excelsior college and love it and so did a good friend of mine.Ignore what marsh said it is not true, it is for working adults ... RN student almost done there is no online degree options for doctors in the USA maybe africa or asia may have programs like that. Online is caterered toward the working adult however med students need to also accomplish residence requirements in addition to there schools How credible your education from the online RN program will be relative to your previous experience. For instance, if you work as a paramedic for a 911 service or function in a nursing type capacity in a respected ED, I believe that you will hold just as much, if not more, credibility as any new graduate. The online nursing program that I am familiar with is for educated health care professionals with real world experience. They are not designed to make a bricklayer into a RN. I work at a top 5 hospital in a big city. We have several RNs from the online degree program (all were employed as paraprofessionals in the facility while taking the program) |
