How do you think you could improve information sharing in nursing homes?

One thing: electronic medical records and documentation systems.

Bigger hospitals are revolutionizing electronic systems, and hopefully nursing homes will take their lead and implement similar systems. They have utterly revolutionized health care.
Immensely......It certainly don't exist here locally.
If they could use a standardized database for their patients' medical records and personal information that is shared by other nursing homes would be a great help. Most of them would probably not agree as this would have to be monitored by someone and it would also be an accurate record of the activities of both patients and their caretakers. In a legal sense, I believe they would not welcome it.
