Nurses...UnderPaid?

Do U U think nurses are Under Paid?

The only people who think nurses are underpaid are the people who don't like their jobs, and the only people who think nurses are overpaid are the staff they work with who wish they were paid that well for the work they do.

Our pay as nurses reflect not only our direct patient care duties, it also reflects the fact that we are responsible for delegating tasks to assistive personel (effectively making us a supervisor) and also because of our extensive legal liability that we have. You'll almost never see a CNA getting sued for millions of dollars. People who hold higher education degrees and have higher amounts of responsibility SHOULD make more money than those who do not. Almost everybody is under paid. But I would say teachers are one of the most under paid.
Not necessary. Nurses are most sort after so the pay should be good.
No. Half the time they are just sitting on their butts gossiping. I work around nurses, and they work hard about 50% of the time, and sit around the other half. They gripe, whine and complain all the time.
Of course they are. But they still have to be realistic. Nurses make a hospital, but they are still only nurses, and I suppose with any career the more education and more qualified you are the higher the income. If you want a higher income in the nursing profession, maybe do a little upgrading of your training. Apparently thats how you get further tese days, re: higher income. Good Luck..... There are lots of professions that should be appreciated more than they are.....
It depends on what kind of nurse you are. If you are advanced practice you can make 6 figures
