Can any one help me who can give any example of a nursing care plan? |
Can any one help me who can give any example of a nursing care plan? I'm sure you can find one on a google search. Care plans are pretty worthless in real world nursing. You only need them for nursing school. They use canned care plans in hospitals. I've been an RN for 12 years and never wrote one after nursing school. I can't believe they still make you do them. More training should be given to learning skills than worthless paperwork, but nursing schools are the last to adapt to new technology. State Boards of nursing are old lady bureaucracies, and are resistant to change. They are the ones that require schools to force people to do care plans. They sell books of care plans at the college book store, so look there. Care plans are like flight instructor lesson plans. A nice idea, but not really that useful in practical application. |
