How long do you have to go to school to get a degree/permit in physical therapy? |
I was thinking of becoming a physical therapist, but I don't know much about the career. How long do you have to go to school and what classes do you have to take to become a physical therapist? Thanks in advance! I've seen physical therapy programs that can go from 2 years to 4 years. When you search for a school, try applying for accredited schools only. whether private or state schools. There are tons of schools these days that promise degrees that are not really approve by industries standards. If you go to a credited school, you might be able to continue your school career (transfer to a university) after you are done with your physical therapy program. Oh yes......you should go to school for something that you love and know alot of. :) That would make it a lot easier on your life. Good Luck Source(s): business student. years past the degree was a four yr program. now most schools and state license agencies require a 6 yr program. visit the state board online for info. plan on spending ur first 2 yrs a comm college to lower ur costs. Remember the cost of u college is NOT an indication of how much u get paid. after 5 yrs in work field NoOne gives a tott where u when to school Only what u can produce. biz owner who interviews undereducated degree people with too much debt , too much pedigree 4 years undergraduate, 2 years graduate school idk |
