I am looking for online schooling that will let you take the class and pay later.? |
I do not qualify for financial aid from the government but I want to take some online courses to be a medical transcriptist and I was wondering if anyone knew of a place that offers online classes that let you pay after you complete the course. My credit is not all that great right now either. Someone please help me because this is something i have really wanted to do for the last couple of years. Thank you There is no institution that will not make you pay in advance. The only real possibility for you are student loans. If your institution is accredited, there should be no issues on that front. As for your credit, I am not sure how government funded student loans are effected by poor credit. All that I can say is apply and get accepted for admission to the school of your choice, and I am sure that they will help you find student loans. If they can't help you, you might be SOL. Please be wary of those 'online schools' such as penn foster, stratford career and university of phoenix as most employers don't view them as reputable. There may be a course offered thru the local community college in either machine transcription, medical transcription or medical (or administrative) office procedures. For the office procedures course, one might need to know how to type and at a certain speed, but perhaps it can be cheaper instead of those courses that cost thousands of dollars. Not sure if that is equal to a transcription program, but since you are so strapped for funds, perhaps it's an alternative for the time being.
