Pre nursing or nursing difference?

im 18 going into college and i wanna become a registered nurse. they put me down as pre-nurse, but will that get me to be a registered nurse and get my bachelors in nursing?

hello! I was once a "pre-nursing" student when i was coming into college. This basically means that you won't be in nursing classes yet but would be studying pre-requisite classes such as biology, physiology and anatomy, chemistry and etc After you complete all the pre-requisite classes that you would need to prepare for nursing classes, you would apply to college of nursing and hope that you would get in. THe process may be nerve racking and stressful but it's sure worth it.

FYI: If you get rejected after hard work, DON"T EVER GIVE UP!!! My college had very competitive nursing school and I couldn't get in. However, I apply to other schols and got in! So good luck with everything!! Source(s): CUrrent Nursing Student
That's just another word for student nurse, you don't become a Register Nurse until you take your Nu Clex after your graduation.
