Can a Dermatologist make well over 1 Million Dollars ? |
Their is this one doctor name N.V. Perricone and he has Cosmeceuticals line were he company made in 2001 11.8 Million and 2002 42.1 Million, just to know I not in for the money just wondering is it possible ? i don't think is very common but if your good at what you do you can make as much money as you want i heard the one Gynecologist got a degree in plast sugery and combinded the two and now he make millions a month Yes it is possible, heart surgeons and cardiologist make at least 500,000 a year and some over 1 million. Dermatology is by far one of the easier practices to go into. No call and your office hours are pretty much set hours. As a surgeon or cardiologist you have call, work usually like 7am to sometimes 10 or 11pm. Another good one is radiology. They make really good money to, sitting in their offices reading x-rays all day long. The rap category's of medicine is the best payed for what all they do, that's, radiology, pathology and anesthesiology. It is also safe to add dermatology to that group. Perricone made his money, however, from his cosmetceutical line, not his derm practice. This is atypical--they are plenty more dermatologists who just make a decent living. Dr Murad is another derm who made millions with his line of cosmeceuticals, ad did Dr Obaji. But again, there are probably 10,000 derm out there with regular joe salaries to every one of those above. That takes entrepreneurship and the ability to start and run a big company as well. Only the really top MDs make over 1 million on the average with a rare few making more' when you look at all the # of docs in the country..... we're all poor MDs here.... Yes, you can however, why waste your youth when you can become a millionaire at another health profession. Pharmacists make a lot considering the fact that you can finish your degree by the age of 22 years old if you plan accordingly. Pharmacy has a lot of advantages. These are: 1) Takes less time to finish compared to med school 2) If you plan everything correctly you can graduate pharm school when you are only 23 years old 3) Starting salary is 75-150k depending on location and need 4) You do not have to deal with blood 5) You will finish faster than your medical school student counterparts 6) You will always have a job, even if you;re 99 year old 7) Most jobs are 9-5 meaning that you will get to have a family life 8) http://www.getintopharmacyschool.com... CONS 1) Insurance - enough said |
