Companion care for disabled children...?


I am looking to find a job doing companion care (non-medical) healthcare. I initally wanted to work with elderly people but I recently became interested in disabled children after befriending a mentally disabled 14 yr old. If anyone has any ideas where I could find a companion care job in the Detroit,MI area and surrounding area's please help b/c I am very interested!!!! Please limit answers such as monster.com or careerbuilder.com!

Maybe check into some type of nanny service. I'm sure if that's your interest in helping they will be able to find a good fit for you.
