Which is a better career, a Nutritionist or a physical therapist assistant?

I am wanting to find out which is a better career to get into that deals with working in pediatrics aka children? I am going to pursue an associates degree in one of these and then try to get into Children's Medical Center in my local area. Does anyone have any idea which profession would be better and easier to do that is a great paying career with rewards? I don't have a problem taking science classes such as biology, chemisty or entry level physics. So if anyone can let me know which one is better to do and allow me to get an associates degree, I would appreciate it. God bless and thank you all!

just based on the way you worded your question shows you are more interested in helping children in the best way you can. You will definitely have more positions which would attract PT's Assistants. it is a very rewarding job emotionally and it also pays more than that of a nutritionist. also, part of your PT asst would involve more contact with the patient. The pay is usually better but i think you would be happier being more involved with the one-on-one patient care. Go for it. and i bet ya money you will continue your studies as you work in order to get more involved in the patient care (money is not your objective here - satisfaction is) and happier employees make more money!!
As a member of the healthcare field. I would suggest that Physical therapy is the way to go. PT's are in high demand, get paid very well, and all the ones I know seem to really really love their job. There are so many areas to work that your opportunities are almost endless. You also have the ability to further your education and have MORE job opportunities. Good luck and look for a nice PT program in your area. You can usually start out at a good community college where the learning environment is phenomenal and then transfer to a PT/PTA program.
