Hey does anyone know where can i get imfo on the medical field ?

hey everyone well i'm in college right now and i wanted to major in business but my family told me that field was a wise choice b/c i need money in order to have a business but if i chose a career in the medical field i would be guarannteed with a job because they always need people. i wanted to know your opinions in what i should do and what branches in the medical field deals with children ..thank you very much i appreciate it

You can always still major in business and just take your basic requirements...Calculus, Gen Chem, Physics, and Biology if you want to become a doctor. If you don't want to go through much schooling you could be a nurse by getting your nursing degree and passing the boards. You could work in a pediatrician's office or in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) if you are interested in working with kids. If you want to be a doctor... take all your basics and you can major in what you want. Then you will take the MCAT to get into med school. If you want to work with kids as a physician the best option is a pediatrician. As for job demand in the medical field, it is always very high demand. It is unlikely you will ever be out of a job. My mom is a nurse..and I know a lot of places pay for students to become nurses. In addition, if you apply in area where nurses are highly needed...you will usually get a great bonus and higher pay.

Well I hope this helped :)
Good luck! Source(s): Experience
One field that is starting to open up is executive doctors. Essentially medical people who are also business professionals. The University of Tennessee has the leading Medical MBA program around.

2) If you plan everything correctly you can graduate pharm school when you are only 23 years old

3) Starting salary is 75-150k depending on location and need

4) You do not have to deal with blood

5) You will finish faster than your medical school student counterparts

6) You will always have a job, even if you;re 99 year old

7) Most jobs are 9-5 meaning that you will get to have a family life
