Becoming an RN/LPN in Alabama?

I really don't know anything about the requirements for becoming LPN/RN certified in Alabama, and I cant seem to find anything that tells me what minimum requirements are. I've looked through the AL state nursing board, but i didnt find it. Maybe i just dont know what im looking for. I've been through a couple college's sites for nursing programs, but they've been less than helpful as well

Also, if anyone know if there is a limit to how much time you can spend in school to get your certs (I imagine they want you to be fresh in all the subjects i.e. chemistry, because if i spread out the course load over 10 years (by example) i would have completely forgotten my chem classes)

You have to have a CGFNS exam, an NCLEX exam then you are of to work. You must complete all your courses subjects and have your diploma. Source(s): me
