Job Analysis? and description?

Describe in one or two sentences how you will access job analysis and job description information for a medical examiner? or a Forensic Technician?

Job analysis has to do with comparing positions within a company. i. e. how do you compare the receptionist to the security guard. The job analysis is performed to ensure that people are getting paid equally for doing equal work. This is especially true since, in this case, most receptionists are women and most security guards are men. But if you can determine that they both have similar duties and similar responsibilities, then they should make the same wage.

The job analysis is generally performed before wage scales are established or changed.

The job description defines the overall objective of the job, the job duties, the qualifications for the job, and the physical requirements for the job. It almost always includes one job duty to the effect of "and other duties as assigned." and often indicates the wage scale status of the job.
I would go to Yahoo, and in the search box type in "medical examiner job description" or "forensic technician job description". I'm not sure what you mean by job analysis, but salary.com has salary info.

If I wanted more info, I would contact a local college that offers a degree program in either area and talk to the chairperson.

Good luck!
