Volunteer Coordinators in Healthcare-?

How would you describe your job, your satisfaction/dissatisfaction with it and the workload, also, how much stress does your job usually generate? If you could, would you have taken a different path, also, what major, if you did, complete in college? Would you say it prepared you for your job? How much of a "people" person do you have to be?

PARDON?
I love my job, I get a lot of satisfaction from it and I know that I am making a difference.
I have to know their background and culture so that I could adapt to their lifestyle.
I don't know quite where to start with this but I loved my job, I went to University in Australia and again in the UK, the workload was huge, as was the stress at times and to be successful you definitely need to be a caring people person. The pay was rubbish but no dedicated nurse plans on being rich. Does that help?
