Do you hate your job but are still in it because of the money? Did you choose a career because of the money...

or because you like what you do? Is it bad to choose a career solely on the fact that you'll be making a lot of money? What if you need the money to pursue your dreams and to be really happy and fullfield?

Ex: A girl's dream is to own her own clothing store. She wants this more than everything. She wants to be her own boss. If all goes well with the clothing store maybe she'll invest in other things. But, to do this she needs money. A Lot. She decides that in order to make money she needs a high paying career, so she decides to be a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Annually she'll be making around $150,000. With this money the clothing store is possible. If all goes well she will leave her job and dedicate herself and time to her business. If not, then she will have her career. Good plan? Bad plan? Horrible plan? If it's a bad plan, then what are her other options?

I hate my job only becuase my company is ran wrong and my boss treats everyone like crap, but yes I stay becuase of the money, becuase I need to raise my 16 month old son by myself. I chose my trade becuase it has been in my family for ever (printing), but I just hate the company I work for.
TOO MANY WORDS!!!
I'd rather be happy than success full! ;-)=
Yep, I have a student job in waitrose and that's just for the money
omg all these questions!

i hate my job but it's only because i'm not challenged. i got this job 4 months ago and was really happen because i'd be making lots of money. now that i'm here, i'm not happy because i don't have a steady challenged and most of the people around me are getting laid. i need a new job.
yes i chose career based on money
I own a business I pretty much hate. A construction biz, that is stressful when dealing with customers sometimes. My day does not end at 5:00---but I make so much more money, I will suffer. I could not work for someone else, after being my own boss. I hate being a boss, BTW. I had to fire a guy Fri. and I hate that!!
