Is it ok to go on medical leave from one job for stress and still be working another job?

I have a job that is very stressful so i took a medical leave from my therapist from that job, but i am working a different job that isnt stressful. i am not getting state disability for the stressful leave, but i am receiving my earned sick pay. does anyone know if there is anything wrong with that?

I would check it out if I was you.
If your employer finds out you are working another job, he could argue the fact, that you are not stressed at all, because you are able to work elsewhere.
Be careful.
I'd check the law - but I don't see anything wrong with it.
Of course it is okay and aren't you the smart one for working the system. People seem to get the short end of the stick when it comes to sick pay so I say BRAVO!
another smarty who works any system to make sure I come out ahead. Hurray for us
Some jobs do try to dictate what you can and cant do while you're on leave. It probably would have been a good idea to find out before you went on leave what your job's policy is. I know some ppl who have been terminated for being on leave from 1 job and working another but I dont know abt the circumstances of leaving your own pay. It prob depends on how long u plan to be on leave. If your new job is less stressful then quitting your other job would prob be the better option for u.
Just don't get caught. If you can work elsewhere, why should your " stressful" employer be paying you while out on "medical leave" while you work somewhere else? You can be on the hook for back pay and even get fired for doing it. They can easily check your payroll earnings from the other employer. Now, if your other job pays cash or under the table , there's less chance of getting caught.
Bit of an ethics question....

Sick days are not earned, but generally are a benefit.

Your first employer, should they find out that you're moonlighting while on sick leave, may have grounds to dismiss you. You're on shaky ground here...
