What are some common interview questions for a nurses assistant position?

This is a re-post. I have an interview tommorrow at a nursing home, for a CNA position. Please help me out!!

1. What is your interest in working with the elderly?
2. Are you able to take rough working conditions when needed? Such as, standing on your feet for 8 hours, bad smells, washing and dressing someone else?
3. What has your attendance been at other jobs?
4. What is your experience?
5. Are you certified?
6. Have you ever been convicted of a felony? Or accused of abuse?
7. How do you handle stress?
8. What would you do if someone got in your face and yelled at you?
9. Can you lift up to 50 pounds?

There are so many more I ask but, this is the gist of it. Good Luck! Source(s): Director of Nursing
