I'm not sure in Arkansas but in Wisconsin where I live, I made about $8.50-$9.00 to start with no experience when I worked as a CNA. Then depending on how many months or years experience a person had as a CNA they made more. In a nursing home CNA's made more than in a hospital. After 5 years experince, atleast in Wisconsin, I barely make $10/hr. I would definetly check around to different facilities or people you may know to find out what the wages are in your area.
try here, but you need to put a city in.

About minimum wage, depends on the area you're working in, a larger city 30,000+ around 8.00, a smaller city, anywhere from 5.85(federal minimum wage), and up. I live in southeast missouri, and my mom is a cna, she only got paid 6.50 an hour and worked 12 hour shifts, then she transferred and got paid 7.00. Good luck!
