If you receive a check from the U.S Treasury, or a direct deposit to the account you designated, then your tax return has been processed. If not, your refund is still being processed. It is a free service. whats ur income????? call the IRS. in you booklet there is an automated 1-800 number that will give you the status of your refund. you need your SS# and the amount of your refund when calling. Write a letter to the ITO /ACIT i.e A.O of the ward regarding the pending refund and give a copy to the Joint CIT and C.I.T of that charge . Your problem will be sorted out. In a year time, you will see that Income tax department credit refunds directly to your bank online. The work is going on in that direction,,,,,as reported in Newspaper. |
