Salary 220000/annum-how much savings + hra to be showed to avoid tax? You don't mentioned that how much HRA you are getting but if your salary is including HRA is 220000 and if u want to save your tax you have to follow these advise Up to 100000 your income is exempted up to next 100000 You can get deduciton u/s 80C by investing in such investing scheme E.g Life insurance premium, contribution in pension fund, School fees of 2 child, Investment in PPF, Deposit in schedule banks, purchases infrastructure bond.
