How to change of address for PAN? |
Iam Basically from Hyderabad, When I was working in Bangalore I got a PAN card, Now I want to change my address Bangalore to Hyderabad,(since it will be very much problem to file my returns in Bangalore , Please guide me You need not intimate ur address change for PAN. The next time you file ur returns, where ever you are, you will have to mention ur new address on the IT form..that is all you will have to do, for the returns you have already filed you need not intimate address change, but if u have chosen to receive ur refund cheque instead of ECS credit then you will have to intimate the change to ur respective assessing officer of the IT dept range where you have filed ur returns earlier. change application form Extactly the same was my problem. I tried to contact so many IT officers in the range where i filed my IT returns. They just kept on redirecting from one person to another and one office to another office. I am still trying for the same. But all officer gave different different opinions. From this i understood that Our Finance Minister P. Chidambaram needs work hard to put these people in order. I also think they need still soem training on the system's working. Now I feel finally I will file my returns at my new place witout any further efforts.
