What do you think of the new tax return?


What do you think of the new tax return? Do you feel the government has the right to poke its nose into your financial matters, especially when you are an honest taxpayer?

The new tax return form 2F is not bad. It asks you much information in that financial year. 90% of the persons dose not pay correct Tax. For example, how many employees are paying correct taxes. The are just paying taxes on their salary but not on other income like house rent they earn and the interest they earn on FDs and from capital gains.

Almost all the political people will face problems in filling this form. If they fill this form each year, then they cannot tell stories for their properties later.

In my view, the new form is the right one for Indians. But I am sure that this form will be withdrawn due to political people pressure. (Saying that due to public demand the form is withdrawn.). We must watch what will happen.

i havent seen the new tax returns yet but i think the goverment should stop herrasing the us citizins if you no what i mean
anymore if you dont wear your seatbelts they can pull you over and give you a ticket thats wrong too

now there messing with the tax payers returns whats next
no its not at all just. with this new system i don't think that the govt. will benefit in any way. as it is time consuming, people will avoid to file their returns and this will increase tax evasion by the people and the govt. will be at loss.
The only new introduction is the Cash flow statement, and it has been badly prepared. It realy pays the watch your cash flow, It would be good if this type of form is precribed for business people.
