How do i transfer my PF account from my old companies ? where can i find details about my pf a/c of old compan


I had resigned from my old company 7 years back. Now I need to transfer the PF. I am not in touch with my old company. do not have my PF number.
Can I contact the PF department ? Anything can be done online ? how do i transfer PF to my current company ?

Hi,
You can transfer PF from one company to current PF account provided you know you old PF account number. This you can get only from your previous employer, if possible could be in your pay slips or Form 16 if you have filed tax when working with previous company.
You can downlaod the PF Transfer form from
http://www.epfindia.com/forms/13revised....
I am not sure if we can know the PF amount in your account. Need to check with the regional PF office in your area.

I guess you need to contact your previous company.
Try to find out the name of the PF trust in your old company.
