American Church United solicits life insurance coverage by Prudential.?

The coverage is offered for persons up to 100 years old without a physical exam. Is anyone familiar with this organization? If so, is this a legitimate association? Recent contact with Prudential, representative stated, they do not underwrite policies for this association. Here is the website: www.americanchurchunited.org

They can, but I have found that if you are healthy, and can be underwritten by another company with a physical, you will get a much better deal there. By not taking a physical or answering medical questions, you are placed in the same group of people that might as well be dead. This causes you to have the same RATE as them, which is not fair to you if you are healthy. The premiums for these policies are usually rather large, and if you are getting up in your years, you would be better off putting that money in a CD for 4 or 5 years if you think you are going to live that long.

Long of the short, wolves come in sheeps clothing, and I have found that religious organizations that offer life insurance coverage to their members (and they all do) without physicals or proof of health, are usually major rip offs.
