What is a reasonable price to pay for renters insurance? This is for 2 ppl in a 1 br apt.?

Unless the two people are married, you're going to have a hard time finding a company willing to write ONE policy covering the BOTH of you. But a renters policy in the US, if you have a credit score of 600 or better, should run you about $150 for $20,000 of contents. Source(s): agent, 20+ years

Based on what was paid 10 yrs ago; it should run you app. 20-30$ a month.......there are several options in coverage but should not be much different.
I was an apt. manager for 10years...told ALL my residents to carry it. One little boo-boo can be very costly.
