Who should I contact about the right Health care plan in Philadelphia, Pa.(I need an adviser, for disabled)?

Currently we pay $498.00 a month for healthcare insurance for both of us on a 1 person disability income. I don't think an insurance agent will help, because he has to make a buck!

My question, is there a free service, private, or government, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania which can help me and my spouse select the right affordable health insurance plan (Preferably, an advisor)?

Health insurance agents aren't hard sellers because they don't really make any money on individual health. They make about a couple bucks a month regarldless of the plan you choose. In fact, you may have trouble finding an agent who is knowledgeable about the plans. $498 is VERY inexpensive for health insurance. Try ehealthinsurance.com to shop for plans and then call around to the health agencies and find an agent to help you. Source(s): I am a healh insurance agent in NJ.
