If in retainer lawyer asked you? |
if in retainer lawyer asked you 25% if he won the case but in case if he lost he ask you for fees and other expensive ??? I have no idea what you're saying. Whatever fee arrangement you agreed to before he started working on the case applies. If a lawyer asked me for a percentage of the win, if we won, and was going to bill me anyway, if we lost, I would NOT work with that lawyer. what are u trying to ask? Hhe has to specify if you have to pay the fees before starting the case and he has to give you a document stating the percentage he's getting from the case and if you don't have to pay the fees if you don't win the case. Good Luck!! In this case, he has nothing to lose by taking your case. Worst case scenerio, you lose,get $0 and have to pay him a good amount of money for everything he paid. Other lawyers will do contingency of 30% + expenses, but nothing if they lose...this gives them a vested interest, since they want to make some money. |
