Help i need affordable health insurance for my college student daughter in texas? Contact the school, they're mandated by the federal government and have to offer coverage to all uninsured medical students, they will also factor it into her tuition, so if she's getting financial aide it will help pay her health insurance. Another option is she can apply for State medical benefits. Contact her school. Most schools will offer a discounted insurance for their students, some larger universities even include it in tuition! Before you fork out more money, make sure her school is not already providing it for her. There are actually plans out there for Students.
