I have no insurance and on a tight budget right now. I'm also unemployed. I've researched a few discount cards out there and the prices are still 2 high! For instance Hyzaar tabs for high blood pressure is $76. With the discount price I would only pay $73 and tax? I've applied for state medicaid and that takes a long process of waiting. Any suggestions? I'm not old enough for medicare. Pls help out here...Thanks! <^:^>
Contact the manufacturer of the drug, don't buy any discount program. The manufacturers have their own programs for meds and are the best programs to join. If you get health insurance you will lose the manufacturer program as the new coverage takes over. Also look into alternative drugs, there arent any generics for Hyzaar, but there are other drugs with the same effects that do come in generic, ask your doc about lisinopril (about 15$ for 2 month supply) or other lower costing alternatives. |
