If you believe in the product you are selling is helping people and you personally own one yourself, then you shouldn't have any problems selling it. Some people will ask you what kind of life insurance you have and you can answer it or even show them your policy. If you don't own life insurance yourself, you are only being an hypocrite and shouldn't be selling life insurance in the first place.
Anyway, the best way to advertise is by word of mouth. Talk to your family and friends and they can refer people to you and so on.
