State farm agents?

I was involed in a collision with a State Farm insuer in June of
1994 i was a passenger in the vehicle that was struck by that,
person!I suffered a fractured vertebrate as result of that accident!
An iam having difficulties!Iam unemployable and have been
suffering from extreme pain!I was compensated $5,000 dollars
which can!t began to cover my medical expenses!Or releive my
pain an suffering each day!I don!t beleive i received fair compensation, for this serious type of injury!I need furhter assistance in this matter!

Hopefully you did not sign anything when you were given the $5,000.00 in compensation. Either way, check with an attorney ASAP. Hopefully it is not to late to do anything further with your case.
I hope you didn't sign away your rights when you accepted the $5000. Insurance companies will offer an amount of money for a settlement. That paper you signed? You promised not to pursue this case any further. Get a lawyer to see if you have any options left.
All you can do at this point is what the others are saying and that is seek out a good personal injury lawyer and see if they can help you receive further compensation for your injuries and lost wages.

Good luck and I hope you start to feel better soon.
What state do you live in?
In many states the medical payments are covered on your own policy no matter who was at fault. Some states have Full and Limited Tort. Check with an attorney. That will probably be their first question.

OK, first of all, you're looking at an accident that happened 12 years ago. Likely the statute of limitations has expired, and you can't do anything now.

Second of all, depending on where you live, $5,000 MIGHT have been fair compensation. If you were in a no-fault state, such as Pennsylvania, and chose LIMITED TORT, you have no right to 'pain and suffering' payments - only medical bills. That would be, medical bills limited to the fractured vertebrae.

Third of all, if you took the $5,000 and signed away your rights at that time, and now, 14 years later, want more money . . . too bad. You signed away your rights at this time.

Sorry, this stinks of something fishy!! I strongly suspect your unemployability is NOT related to a vertebrae that healed 12 years ago.
