Industries in poor financial condition?

Other than sub-prime mortgage lenders. Im looking for stock investments which are potential "turnarounds".

Right now .... All of em. Source(s): Good ol USA!................... NOT!
You could go thru financial reports and find companies that show pretty good profits but have just taken on a lot of debt. That is kind of risky to me. If they owe a lot and hit a snag then they are in trouble. However, they could have borrowed a lot of money to really push their product and/or services and are planning a lot of massive growth.

Yahoo has these reports. You have to do the work to dig thru them though.
Airlines, home builders, some consumer retailers, etc.
