Which is the best/cheapest discount broker ?

Although there are about 5 or 6 good ones and each one has one catagory where they are cheaper than the other, so which one is the overall best/cheapest for someone trading in penny stocks ?

Scottrade is a good one and cheaper than the rest I believe. I use AmeriTrade and its expensive for a first time investor, or for some such as you doing penny stock trading.
I use Scottrade.
I have used Scottrade with good results for some time. However, I do avoid penny stocks since they are more of a speculation than I care for.

Good luck.
Have a look at Interactive Brokers. Equity & option trades are considerably less than the majority of other online brokers.
Hi Joe

I am partial to Scottrade myself, and it sounds like several others are too.

You can do a quick comparison at: http://www.scottrade.com/online_broker_c... . You can open an account with as little as a $500 deposit.

Good luck!
