Wat does this mean 4.65 apy?

is it that much interest a month or a year.?

The term 4.65%APY, is generally used in financial markets where this is the actual rate of return(interest) you can gain on your investment for the Year. But that is the "actual" interest or rate of return you will gain on the investment total time frame. For instance a 9 month Certficate of Deposit might have a APR of 5.02 and a 5.05APY, if the money is left in the CD for the entire 9 months then you will have a 5.05APY (rate of return). Hopefully this helps.
APY=Annual Percentage Yield. It isn't your interest rate. Your interest rate had a hand in the number though.
It means annual percentage yield
