Employee stock? |
I was injured on the job had to get a lawyer am no longer working for them I been geting Co. stock every year for 3 years now , not (401k) my question is can i still cash them in or not becouse of the way i left the Co.? I tryed talking to them but they said becouse i got a lawyer they cant talk to me i thought that was odd No, its not odd. You hired an attorney against your old company. Why would you now think they love you so much that they can't wait to talk to you. Have all your questions and business dealings handled by your attorney. That is why you hired him. You should consult the attorney that handled your original case. Whatever agreement you signed with the company should state your options for that stock. It is probably pretty likely that their laywer advised them not to speak with you regarding this case to protect themselves. |
