I use sharebuilders.com ... All the directions are on there. or pop the screen up and call them. They guide you or help you what to do. It took me a few weeks to get used to it.
I agree, Many companies allowyou to purchase stocks through their DRIP programs, but Sharebuilder.com is a great way to get started at only $4 a trade the investment is small and you can raise the stakes when you are comfortable.

frstly for trading u need to hav a demat account thn go to firms like sharekhan,indiabulls
they hav thr own softwares with which u can do trading
they will charge some commission
but this is the normal procedure
Contact State Bank of India, H.D.F.C. Bank or ICICI bank and open a trading account. After that you can purchase shares thru Internet by using bank's trading site.
