I've thought of this myself but it is a tough thing to invest in as there is such a large broker cost. CDs seem to do well also. I remember them being over 9% in the '80s when inflation was high. Just my 2 bits, good luck
Inflation is a very difficult situation to deal with investment wise. Oddly enough the best kind of investment is borrowing money from others. Consequently, one of the best investments is a 30 year fixed interest mortgage where you are the borrower not the lender.
