What a good way for a 13year old to make money(but none of those crappy ideas like walking dogs or babysitting Are you ready for this one? Please forget lemonade, paper routes, etc. Tell your son/daughter to start caddying. My little brother started this at age 12 and made $11/hour (on average) working only on the weekends. He still caddies (now 14) and makes $14/hr on ave. and has ventured into his own business due to the knowledge and help of the businessman he's worked for. The income here is not what I feel is most important for children. The most important value by caddying are the business/personal relationships your son/daughter will develope while they work for very influential, prominant leaders in the business world. Caddying is a great way for kids to gain valuable work experience, exposure to the great game of golf, develop important work habits & life skills and meet & work for a variety of successsful people. Caddying is a job responsibility at a golf course where you work for a golfer to carry or pull their golf bag and assist them during their round. By the end of the program your son/daughter will understand this in much more detail. Take care and good luck to your child :) Mow the lawn. Paper boy! lol @ u 13 yrs old, and u have no job experience. no degree. and u dont want to walk dog or babysit? last time i check..13 yrs old is too young to work in micky d etc. u need to be at least 14. try selling lemonade..but i think falls under ur "crappy" job. im sorry u too 13 to get any "adult" jobs. just study hard in school and dont drop out...lmao. Okay so what can you do? Why not do one of those "crappy" jobs and them put the money you earned into a high interest savings account. If you're handy with computers, you can help people out with computer servicing, e.g. if someone doesn't know how to install some piece of software or change some setting. Just tell them that you'll hang around and do these things for them for $10/hour or something like that. A friend of mine showed me a web site where I could do survays and make money. YOu get paid once a month. So far this month ive made 7.00. If your interested contact me, it would be something you could do easley. You already have a job, it's called 'student'. And how well you do at it will have a huge impact on the rest of your life. Forget about the little things, focus on what's important -- get A's. |
