How can I invest in a US listed stock from India? I am a resident Indian. Is it allowed?


I know one can indirectly participate via MFs. But I want to buy and sell directly.

Open an account with a USA stockbroker. It can be done online and you can do your trading online aslo. Try www.schwab.com.
yes its allowed, open an account with a foriegn investment company such as scottrade, charles schwab, edward jones
