What is the best career to choose in the city of Miami? Private business. Very vague question. However, I'd say, movie star, sports star, or Playboy talent scout. "Best career" is a pretty vague criterion. Best in what way? Here is one fact: there is a permanent shortage, especially in towns with large numbers of retired elderly, of health care provider personnel - nurses, orderlies, lab technicians, and personal attendants. The work is hard, there are emotional strains, and the pay is not the best, but there is NO unemployment. The best paying jobs are those requiring rare skills and education - medical doctors, lawyers, business managers, investment bankers. The greatest volume of jobs are in hospitality - hotels, restaurants, and tourist attractions. There are agencies, both public and private, that will administer a series of aptitude tests and seek to match individuals with careers for which they show required ability and personality similar to successful individuals in that line. If you have no "dream" to fulfill or die trying, go to such a service and have them find out jobs what you are good for, then train for and do the one that pays best in that town. |
