I am having trouble with my police oral boards, any suggestions? Thank you?

Troubles include quick thinking for senario type questions.

Ok...this is pulling from my 5th grade study skills, but it works.

Record yourself asking questions on a tape or MP3 player OR you can write questions down on a card (so you don't know what to expect), and record yourself explaining the scenerio....that way you can get a good idea of how your voice comes across, and you'll get some experience thinking on your feet.

Don't just "think" of the conversation in your head...actually SAY the words Your brain actually processes both differently, and it reinforces the learning.
Try to go with the flow, be professional, and don't be nervous! g/l
Hi,
I found that if you are honest and sincere it helps. I tried to have at least 2 or 3 examples of every type of question there is out there. Dont sugar coat things. Everyone has some faults in life. Tell them but then tell them how its made you better or hows its given you a different outlook. If you drink, tell them, if you have smoked a joint tell them, etc.

BE HONEST!!!

Good Luck
Been through it all:)
